Welcome message

Welcome to Expressive and Performing Arts at Carnoustie High School. Within our faculty, we offer courses in Art and Design, Music and Music Technology. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive department and aim to provide a creative space for all pupils to enjoy and thrive. As well as developing creativity, the Expressive Arts allow pupils to develop many transferable skills that are relevant in a variety of different contexts for future life, learning and work. Pupils will learn how to work together in creative contexts as well as develop their own independence and autonomy over their learning. As well as providing pupils with high quality learning experiences, we hope to develop their culture and appreciation of the arts.

Additional Information

As well as our curriculum offer, our department is open to pupils at break and lunch for them to develop their musical and artistic skills.
