Welcome message
Our S1 and S2 BGE curriculum provides a varied and engaging learning experience, ensuring pupils gain a broad understanding across all science disciplines. It aims to foster a strong work ethic while establishing a solid foundation for learning in S3 and the senior phase.
In S3, the science curriculum becomes specialised and pupils are given the opportunity to pursue learning in either Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Science. Each of these subjects are delivered by our dedicated subject-specific teachers to ensure that pupils are fully prepared to achieve their potential in the senior phase.
In S4-6, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are taught at N3, N4, N5, Higher, and Advanced Higher levels and for pupils who wish to explore all three subjects within a single year, we offer an Applied Sciences National Progression Award at Level 5. For pupils with a particular interest in cell biology and physiology we also offer Higher Human Biology.
